We are young newlyweds and new graduates in Pennsylvania. Mackenzie is the primary blogger in the family, with occasional guest posts and art contributions from Husband (recently promoted from Future Husband).

Mackenzie hasn’t discovered yet if she has a green thumb, but in the summer of 2008 she house-sat for some of my professors and in the span of a month, managed not to kill their garden. So who knows? Maybe she’s gifted.

She also managed, however unwittingly, to accidentally stew Husband’s first tomatoes of the summer — when in doubt, do not leave produce in a hot car all day while you are at work.
